Currently a resident of Georgia, Marcus Bryan upholds an enthusiastic commitment to honest and engaging written work. A vigilant and reverential admirer of the arts, his passions circulate between music, poetry, and prose. Keen to maintain a disciplined balance between work and recreation, he enjoys boxing, physics, travel, and business. Adventurous and reflective, new areas of interest are constantly budding. Bryan is a graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in philosophy.
Anand Mehta
Before coming to Single Parent Magazine, Anand Mehta, has made and sales, customer service, and market research his main focus by maintaining, developing and increasing new business for companies such as Enterprise Renta- Car, Ashford International and TRX, Inc. He has held positions of increased responsibility requiring the ability to maintain and control project integrity, client confidentiality, and budgetary control. Outside of work, he enjoys many activities including playing tennis, listening to music and going to concerts and spending time with friends. He is a passionate persona who brings quality and integrity to everything he does. At Single Parent Magazine, he will utilize this passion in conjunction with his strong background in writing and market research to deliver a fresh and unique perspective to articles for the magazine that will cover a variety of topics.
Leslie Moore
Raised in Georgia since the age of nine, Ms. Moore considers herself a native of Atlanta. A graduate of Georgia State University with a dual B.A. degree in psychology & sociology, Ms. Moore looks forward to applying to graduate school in the upcoming year. She has extensive experience in sales management & all aspects of administration for non-profit organizations. She acquired her passion for journalism at a very early age and enjoys writing for Single Parent Magazine. Leslie is an avid reader whose passions include listening to all types of music, acting, & volunteering for local organizations.
Ashley Rachel
Born and raised in Atlanta, Ashley knew she had the gift of writing from a very young age. She graduated from the University of Georgia with an A.B.J. in Telecommunication Arts. Being the child of a single parent herself, she jumped at the opportunity to be a part of Single Parent Magazine. A versatile writer, she has written articles, short stories, as well as screenplays.
Nikki Toombs
Nikki Toombs is a married mother of three, who hails from the “Magic City” of Birmingham, Alabama. She has been acting, or shall we say “entertaining” since the ripe age of eight. From singing “Hawaiian Rainbows” in the school recital to producing her own stage plays such as lemons, this versatile virtuoso has captivated the hearts of many. Her quick wit, jovial sentiments and stern façade have made her a local favorite both on and off the stage. In 2006, Toombs established Toombstone Productions. Her desire was to provide meaningful theater that not only entertained, but was also impactful. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language Arts from Alabama A & M University in Normal, Alabama. She furthered her matriculation at Lesley University attaining a Master’s degree in Arts Intergraded Curriculum; therefore, marrying both worlds of education and the arts. From mother to mentor…to educator and entertainer, Toombs manages to hit the ground running
